The Brothers of Hugoton Lodge #406 will be very busy this Saturday, October 3. The Lodge is sponsoring the kU Cancer Screening doctors and nurses will give during the Stevens County Health Fair at the Hugoton Middle School from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Grand Master of Kansas Masons Daren Kellerman, with some of his Grand Lodge officers, will be in attendance.

At 12:00 noon Saturday, the Lodge will gather at the Hugoton Senior Activities Center for a fine pulled pork lunch to honor the widows of the Lodge and present service awards to longtime brother Masons. Most Worshipful Kellerman will be main presenter and will further recognize the KU Cancer Team for their dedication to the citizens of Kansas in the fight against cancer. Kellerman will also bring greetings from the Grand Lodge of Kansas and cover the exciting programs that the Grand Lodge is sponsoring throughout Kansas.

Those who are to be honored are Dale K. Sutton of Hugoton and David Younggren from Artesia, N.M. for 65 years each; Patrick H. Johnson of McAllen, Tx. and Dwane Santala from Woodbury, Tn. for 60 years; Larry R. Brenn of Levant, Hershel W. Lawson from Satanta and L. Clark Littell of Amarillo, Tx. for 50 years.
