Hopefully every mother in Hugoton had a wonderful Mother’s Day this past
Sunday. Lois Watson may have had one of the best, as she is The Hugoton Hermes’ Super Mom 2015! Lois is the mother of Judy Zordel, Fritz Goebel and the late Andree Catlin. Lois has seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She won the drawing at White’s Foodliner, where she received a $25 gift card. Lois will also receive $50 Chamber Bucks from the Hugoton Area Chamber of Commerce!
Janet’s Bridal and Boutique announced their winner of a $25 gift certificate was Stephanie Heger. Toni Hamlin was chosen at Country Garden for a special Mother’s Day gift basket. Alejandra Manriquez also won a gift basket, as well as a $20 gift card from Stevens County Pharmacy. Yardmaster gave Nelda Brady a $25 gift certificate, and Laura Holcomb won a $25 gift certificate from Creative Specialties. Hugoton Drug’s winner was Kay McDaniels, and she received a gift basket. Brenda Eckert will enjoy picking out her choice of jewelry in the Little Gift Shop in the Corner at Stevens County Hospital.
Shawna Flores’ pets will look their best, after she won a $35 gift certificate from Kates Pet Grooming, while Donice Arellano will look perfectly put-together with her pedicure from Relentless Salon. Finishing Touches will help Debbie Eshbaugh ensure her home is as beautiful as she is, with a $25 gift certificate. Citizens State Bank made sure Loretta Woodworth’s Mother’s Day was marvelous, with 20 Gas Capital Dollars. Sandy Campbell can splurge on her own Mother’s Day gift with her prize of $25 cash from First National Bank.
Gayle Claggett is the proud winner of two #2 meals and drinks at Nieto’s Cafe, while Kelly Fellers won a large pizza at Pizza Hut. Lori Rome won two specials at Ranchito Tex Mex Cafe. The Steakhouse will be happy to host a special dinner for Sandra Flores, the winner of their $30 gift certificate. Connie Rome can take her family out to eat after winning a $25 gift certificate at China Restaurant, while Jet Drive-In will pick up the check for two dinners and drinks for their winner Linda Gooch.
Showplace Video will give hardworking mom Erin Kraisinger a chance to put up her feet with their prize: two free rentals, a large popcorn and two large drinks. Flora Estrada can undertake a new DIY project after spending her $20 gift certificate at Bultman Inc.
