HHS Musicians head to State contest

The Hugoton High School Music Department is excited to share results from the Large Group Contest April 15 and Regional Solo and Ensemble Music Festival April 11. Wish the students luck as they travel to Andover for State Solos and Ensembles this Saturday, April 25!

At Large Group Contest the HHS Concert Band brought home a “I – Superior” rating despite the
obstacle of having to cover certain instrument parts in other sections. The HHS Concert Choir received a “II – Excellent” rating, barely missing the superior rating by one point.
