Forrest McCurren is from Missouri, an enthusiastic dancer, and a singer-songwriter. In the last three years, he and his wife Margaret have played over 500 shows – old theaters, rowdy clubs, smoky bars, swanky listening rooms and county fairs, always providing an inviting and engaging performance of songs and stories that leaves folks smiling. They have two full-length albums that have received positive reviews from the writers on the west coast, east coast and across the pond. He considers himself a writer and storyteller, and prides himself
on an engaging live performance.
In Fall 2025, he was a featured artist on the show, “The Road” which aired on CBS and Paramount+, and though he didn’t win the whole enchilada, he did get lots of love from hosts Keith Urban and Blake Shelton.
The Stevens County Library and Ghumms Auto Center are very
excited to bring Forrest and Margaret to Hugoton July 15 at 7:00 p.m. FREE of charge at the City Park. So bring your chairs, bring your friends, and enjoy an evening of music.
