Christmas is almost here! With the big day falling on a Wednesday, many businesses will be adopting special hours to allow their employees time with their loved ones.
Some businesses will be open in Hugoton for Christmas Day. For the hungry crowd, China will be open their regular hours. If you want some- thing sweet, Daylight Donut will be open regu- lar hours. Circle K will be open as usual for 24 hours Christmas Day. Toot N Totum will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Christmas Day. Casey’s General Store will close at 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and will be open Christ- mas Day from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
For those last minute items, Carter’s Thrifty King will be open until 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and reopen Thursday, December 26. Dollar General will be open until 10:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and will be closed all of Christmas Day.
For those looking for a quick bite during their holiday preparations, look no further than Hugoton’s local restaurants! Los Agaves will be open Christmas Eve till 7:00 p.m. They will reopen for business December 26. McDonald’s will be open Christmas Eve until 8:00 p.m. and reopen December 26. Pizza Hut will close at 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and reopen Thursday. The Jet plans to be open Christmas Eve until 2:00 p.m. and then be closed until Thursday morning. Subway’s hours will remain the same except they will be closed all of Christmas Day.
Acostas – Nietos will close at 2:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and remain closed until Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Stumpy’s will be closed all day Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day. They will reopen Thursday.
Eagles Landing’s plans are to close at noon December 24 and remain closed until December 26. Slim Pickens at Moscow will be open regular hours 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and be closed Christmas Day. Rolla Corner Stop plans to close at 2:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and reopen December 26.
Equity Bank announced they will close at noon Christmas Eve and will reopen the day after Christmas. Citizens State Bank will close at 1:00 Christmas Eve until De- cember 26 when they will reopen at regular time. Truly last minute Christmas shoppers will appreciate Yardmaster staying open Christmas Eve until 2:00 p.m. Also that Flatlanders will be open Christmas Eve until 5:00 p.m.
Looking for the perfect centerpiece for your holiday table? Stop by Creative Specialties Tuesday as they will close at noon that day and not re- open until Friday, December 27. Janet’s Bridal will be closed December 24 and 25. They will reopen Thursday, December 26.
Ensure your vehicle is in tip-top shape before 2020 rolls around by visiting Napa or CarQuest Christmas Eve. They both plan to be closed Christmas Day.
Staring down a Christmas Break DIY project list? Hi- Plains Lumber will be open until 3:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and reopen Thursday.
Maybe you are suffering from a little cabin fever? You could get an early start on your New Year’s resolution by visiting the Stevens County Fitness Center before the holiday. They plan to be open until noon and not open again until Thursday but of course members can get in at any time with their keyfob!
If you are more of a book- worm, be sure to stop by the Stevens County Library to load up on reading material, movies and games before 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve as they will not open again until Friday, December 27.
If the kids need some- thing to do over Christmas Break, the Hugoton Rec announced they will be open until 2:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and open again Thursday, December 26.
Share the Stevens County Gas and Historical Museum with your holiday guests by visiting the Museum Monday until 4:00 p.m. They plan to be closed December 24 and 25 but will reopen December 26 with regular hours. Hugoton’s Senior Center will be closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
If you are hosting a holiday get-together, visit Twisted H Liquor by Tuesday evening to ensure you have plenty of libations for your adult guests as they will be closed all of Christmas Day. Barb’s Den will close at 2:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and re- main closed Christmas Day.
If you have any official business to take care of, make sure to stop by offices Tuesday morning. The City of Moscow will close at noon and the City of Hugoton will close at 2:00 p.m. The Stevens County Courthouse will close Christmas Eve at noon and not open again until December 26.
Postmistress Tracy Archuleta announced the Hugoton Post Office will close their window at 12:00 noon Christmas Eve, but will observe regular collections that day. They will reopen December 26 with regularhours.
The Hugoton Hermes office will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so their employees can enjoy being with their families. Early deadline for the December 26 issue will be Thursday, December 19 at 12 noon. It will be in stores and mailed out Monday, December 23.
Hopefully everyone stays well throughout this holiday season, but if you are feeling under the weather, the Stevens County Medical Clinic will be glad to see you Christmas Eve until noon. They will be closed Christmas Day. Make sure to fill your prescriptions early Christmas Eve. Hugoton Drug will be closing at 1:00 p.m. Christmas Eve and Stevens County Retail Pharmacy will close at noon Tuesday. They will both re- open Thursday with regular hours. The Stevens County Health Department will close at noon, December 24 and will reopen Thursday, December 26.
