The Legislative Update with Rep Stephen Alford and Sen Larry Powell which was scheduled for Saturday afternoon, has been cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather. There are still two other updates scheduled: March 21 and April 18.

Sheriff Ted Heaton brought in the following report from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation concerning events which occurred Saturday, February 7. Saturday evening, the Hugoton Police Department was dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance within Hugoton city limits. Upon arrival, the officer attempted to stop a subject who was leaving the scene.
