The Gas Capital Car Club is gearing up for its Annual Car Show. The big show will take place Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Hugoton City Park with registration from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The car show is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Be sure to bring your special pride and joy to be registered.
The show will feature hot rods, classic, custom and antique automobiles, along with pickups and motorcycles of every kind.
There will be a Kids Class for ages 1-10 this year. There will be top three prize winners.
There will be vendors and activities for kids. Awards for top ten vehicles, top three motorcycles, best of show, best motorcycle, kids choice, best project, salute to service and farthest traveled. Awards will be presented at 2 p.m., with the cruise at 2:30 p.m.
There will be a Poker Run open to the public with five stops to get your card punched. Top three hands win a cash prize. There will be free ice cream in the afternoon courtesy of Hugoton Baptist Church.
The Gas Capital Car Show is presented by Gas Capital Car Club of Hugoton. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy all the fun on Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Hugoton City Park on Main Street.
