Middle School is celebrating its incredible students and their accomplishments from the first quarter! Thursday, 85 students were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
Red and White Honor Roll students earned between a 3.75–3.99 GPA and received a Way to Be Card along with a Tasty Treat coupon.
Eagle Honor Roll students achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA and received two Way to Be Cards and a drink from Wake Me Up.
Last week, the school also celebrated its September Students of the Month! These students were nominated and selected by HMS staff for demonstrating the following qualities:
Academic motivation; Positive leadership and role modeling; Strong attendance; and Respectful and positive behavior.
HMS also celebrated its First Quarter Knowledge Wall Readers for the number of books they completed! These students received a special shirt, a sharable family cookie, and some cold, hard cash for
expanding their knowledge through reading. The reading challenge continues this quarter with a new focus on award-winning books — can’t wait to see who rises to the challenge!
HMS is incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication the students continue to show in all areas of learning. Their commitment to excellence truly embodies what it means to be an HMS Eagle!
