Stevens County Commissioners met in regular session Monday.

Agenda: 8:30 – Bills; 8:45 – County Resolutions and Appointments to be worked on; 9:00 – 2023 Longevity recipients; 9:30 – Tony Martin; 10:00 – Bids for AA Building Doors; 10:15 – Sam & Praful Bhakta – Property Taxes.

Due to the oncoming weather this reporter was unable to attend. Amy Jo sent in a few notes and the picture they had of the Longevity recipients. Resolutions 24-01 and 24-02 are posted in the Hermes this week. Hugoton Hermes is county newspaper; meetings are the second and fourth Monday of the month unless a holiday; Tron Stegman is Commissioner Chair; Vice Chair is Joe Thompson; Citizens State Bank is primary financial institution with Dream First being secondary.

Candidate packets for the 2024 election are available at the County Clerk’s office and filing deadline is June 3 at noon. Thank you Amy Jo
