The HHS choir receive a 1 rating at State April 13 in the large group contest. The Hugoton High School under the direction of Renee Beesley and accompanied by Angela Heger, traveled to Dodge City April 13 to compete at KSHSAA State Music Large Group contest and received all 1 (Superior ratings) from all judges, and were awarded a State first division plaque.  The HS choir consists of 53 students ranging from freshman to seniors.
