Rick Schroeder was honored Friday with a retirement luncheon at the Forewinds Golf Course. He has been the Superintendent of Forewinds for almost 29 years.

Alvin Riley presented Rick with a gold watch in appreciation for all the years and hard work that he has put in at the golf course. He also presented Rick with an aerial picture that shows the many improvements that have been made over the past years that Rick has been Superintendent.

Next John Akers presented Rick with a candy dish which looked like a giant water sprinkler.

Rick began his job as Superintendent in 1992. Over the years, many trees have been planted and a lot of grass has been planted and replanted by Rick and his crew.

Rick and his wife Eunice plan to play a lot of golf in the future. They also plan to travel as well grandkids. May you have a great retirement Rick!
