The Legislative Update with Rep Stephen Alford and Sen Larry Powell which was scheduled for Saturday afternoon, has been cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather. There are still two other updates scheduled: March 21 and April 18.

The Hugoton High School Lady Eagles wrestlers competed at McPherson at Regionals Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15. Lauren Nix qualified for the 4-A State wrestling tournament in Salina
February 28 and March 1. Lauren is the first girl in school history to qualify for State in wrestling!
In the first round of competiton Friday Lindy McClure went 1-1, Ruby Tinoco went 1-1 and
Lauren went 1-1.
Saturday, February 15 Lindy went 0-1, Ruby 0-1 and Lauren 1-1 which qualifed her for State.
