In case you missed it, Easter Sunday is this weekend! Several area churches will be hosting special services in honor of Good Friday and Easter.
Sovereign Redeemer will be having a Good Friday communion service at 7:00 p.m. April 3, as well as a Sunrise Service Sunday morning, April 5, at 7:00 a.m. followed by a Resurrection Day Service at 10:30 a.m. All services will be at the church, located west of Hugoton on Highway 51.
Bethel Friends Church will have a Good Friday Communion Service at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary, 1040 S. Jefferson in Hugoton. They will also host a Sunrise Service at the old Bethel site, seven miles east of Hugoton on Highway 51, five miles south on the Hooker / Moscow Road, then one mile west on Road H, beginning at 7:15 a.m. Breakfast will follow at the church building at 9:00 a.m. Morning service will commence at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday school.
Assembly of God will host an Easter breakfast at 9:45 a.m. Attendees are requested to bring breakfast finger foods. Morning worship will be at 11:00 a.m., followed by an Easter Egg hunt.
There will be a Community Good Friday service at Trinity Baptist from 12:05 to 12:55 p.m. Friday, April 3. Trinity Baptist is located at 516 Northeast Avenue in Hugoton.
There will also be an Easter Sunrise Service hosted by Moscow Baptist Church at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast will be served after the sunrise service.
